Led by Bek Lee, we are a team of florists and creatives here to create dreamy, emotive and artful floral-scapes for you, with you.

Creating bespoke and sustainable floral designs across weddings, events and editorial, as well as running retreats, workshops and mentorships, Tremella’s signature style mixes Western and Eastern elements of floral design that draws on the gentle art of ikebana.

Just like the Tremella mushroom, our floral studio embodies the essence of beauty, healing and nourishment using the medium of flowers and other unexpected botanical elements. Our approach is gentle; a way of working and living where the organic beauty of nature and intuitive creativity coexists in community, with sustainability at the forefront of our practice.

Our unwavering dedication to eco-conscious practices goes hand in hand with maintaining a unique, editorial, and luxurious aesthetic. We ensure our floral artistry aligns with the seasons by thoughtfully sourcing local and premium flowers and curating an inventory of high-quality vessels. We’ve been proudly floral foam free since the beginning, compost all our green waste and diligently reduce the use of plastics to ensure our environmental impact remains minimal.

ABOUT BEK (CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND LEAD FLORIST)

Meet Bek, lover of all things beautiful and ethereal ~

With a fascination of the inner realms of the human psyche and its relationship to the world around, Bek pursued psychology during her uni years. Alongside her work in the community and social work sector, she nurtured other creative pursuits that included co-running a street style fashion photography blog before her flowering days.

Her floristry journey began in 2016 in London while gaining invaluable experience under the guidance of esteemed floral artist Yan Skates and Rebel Rebel floral studio. Returning to Melbourne, Bek further honed her craft while working in-house for Stones of the Yarra Valley.

Fueling her curious spirit, Bek has traversed the globe, exploring over 40 countries and counting. Her travels continue to inspire and shape her life, design and business philosophy, drawing inspiration from the diverse tapestry of cultures, landscapes, cuisine, fashion and art.

Now nestled in Naarm/Melbourne, Bek shares her multi-passionate life with her husband Serge and their dog Scooter.
